Phase 1: A345 Junction Improvements
Update for week commencing 27th August 2007
Phase 1 focuses on the construction of a double mini roundabout on the A345 Junction with Salisbury Street . Improvements at this site will include:
Reduced sign clutter
A more formal and easier to understand layout
An improved and modernised zebra crossing
Improved signing surrounding the junction
Improved street lighting

Roundabout travel is single lane traffic.
Bicyclists observe the same rules as motorists.
Always watch for other users in the roundabout.
Always use your right turn signal when leaving the roundabout.
If you miss the exit, circle until you reach your desired street.
Do not accelerate until you are beyond the crosswalk.
